Dubai Economy and Dubai Municipality have shut establishments and penalised some of them others for violating coronavirus safety rules in the emirate.

Dubai Economy closed three firms and penalised 10 others for violating safety rules.
It also issued warning to seven other entities for not abiding by the precautionary measures for Covid-19.
These measures were taken on Tuesday following daily inspections by Dubai Economy’s inspectors.
“Three businesses were closed, seven were warned and 10 were fined for not adhering to the precautionary measures set to limit Covid-19. Dubai Economy emphasises on the importance of following the precautionary measures and report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app.,” it said on its Twitter account.
Earlier this week, Dubai Economy set up the Grievance Committee where people can file an appeal against the decision and action taken by Dubai Economy and its agencies. The grievances will be reviewed and notified to the submitter within five days.
Dubai Municipality shuts shops, too
Dubai Municipality officials also inspected 2,342 establishments in different parts of the emirate and shut down 11 of them for violating Covid-19 precautionary guidelines while 35 were issued warnings to comply with the guidelines.
The Municipality also closed four laundries in Naif area for violating health practice measures and personal hygiene of employees.
