According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the northeasterly wind will blow dust and sand inland and over the open areas, with expected rough seas.

Temperatures will also continue to drop to between 22-26 degree Celsius on the coast, 24-29 degree Celsius on internal land and 12-19 degree Celsius in mountainous areas.

The beginning of the week saw moving drops of light to moderate rain, particularly in the Western part of the country. The NCMS said the clouds arrived here on Sunday morning from Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, some parts of the Capital experienced light to moderate rain, with seven millimetres of rainfall recorded in Owtaid of the Western Region. Various parts of Dubai, Sharjah and other Northern Emirates also experienced light to moderate rain.

Temperatures also dropped with the maximum across the country at 32 degree Celsius.

The sky is expected to remain partly cloudy on Wednesday with light to moderate wind blowing, especially over the sea. The relative humidity will increase during the night and early morning, with a chance of fog formation over some areas in the morning.
