Perwez's reappearance is a huge relief for his family that were concerned about his safety and a country that prayed for his safe return. Khaleej Times launched a campaign to find him and his father even offered a reward of Dh5,000 for anyone who could give them clues about his whereabouts.
On Thursday, they headed out to Kalba where the boy's uncle lived but could not trace him, but their pain turned into hope later in the evening following the phone call from Sharjah police.
