Sharjah Police authorities have said they will not intervene into any efforts made by the parents to find their son. On Thursday morning, Alam traveled with Sharjah Police authorities to Kalba, Fujairah, in search of Perwez. They were accompanied by child protection officials with the police department to Kalba. Unfortunately, Alam said nothing has come out of their trip to Kalba. "We will give Dh 5,000 to anyone who produces any kind of information about my son. anything, I just want him back," he said. Alam's aged father lives with his brother in Fujairah and has not been informed about his grandson missing.
"Perwez's grandfather asked about him even today. I had to lie to him and tell him he's gone for classes to the mosque," said a tearful Alam.
