"My older brother lives in Kalba, Fujairah. From 2010 to 2017, my family and I used to live and work there. Perwez had some friends there as well. We were hoping he went to Kalba to be with them," Alam told Khaleej Times.

Unfortunately, Alam said nothing has come out of their trip to Kalba. "We will give Dh 5,000 to anyone who produces any kind of information about my son. anything, I just want him back," he said. Alam's aged father lives with his brother in Fujairah and has not been informed about his grandson missing.

"Perwez's grandfather asked about him even today. I had to lie to him and tell him he's gone for classes to the mosque," said a tearful Alam.
