Following trends and data collected over the years, he has determined that Shaaban would be 30 days while Ramadan would be 29 days in 2019.
Residents can look forward to the holy month and its blessings to land on May 6, 2019.
He announced the aforementioned in a statement, according to local media, based on the beginning and ending of Islamic months gathered since 1415 AH. This data helped in predicting the crescent for the following months: Jumada al-Akhir, Rajab, Sha'ban, Ramadan, Shawwal, Zul-Qa'dah and Zul-Hijja.
This data also helped in predicting the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan and its end, the month of Zul Hijjah and Muharram of next year.
