The new tailgating radars in Abu Dhabi will catch and fine both vehicles in front and at the back if they are on the fast lane, the Abu Dhabi Police have announced.

The smart system, which became operational on January 15, had been programmed to detect the two cars violating rules: The tailgaters who failed to leave a safe distance between vehicles, and the one in front that failed to give way to a speeding car on the leftmost lane.
