More than 100 people gathered at Al Qudra desert in Dubai to watch the annual meteor shower.

The annual Perseid meteor shower began on July 17, but they were at their peak from August 12 to August 13.

The Perseids were coming in from the east and they were at their maximum until 4am in the morning.

Planets Mars, Saturn and Jupiter were also visible and members of the crowd observed them through advanced telescopes provided by the astronomy group on site.

The annual Perseids meteor shower were at their peak on Wednesday night but Hazy weather caused the Perseids meteor shower to appear faint.

The next meteor shower will be the Geminids in December, which also put on a stellar show.
