All dressed for the occasion, families shared special moments as they celebrate the first day of Eid Al Adha at home on Friday.
After the Eid Al Fitr celebrations, which were confined strictly to indoors, the UAE has gradually reopened its establishments, giving the residents a respite for Eid Al Adha holidays.

While most residents preferred to stay home and spend time with their loved ones on Eid Al Adha, others like this family headed out to a mall in Abu Dhabi for their festival outing.
Though festivities were subdued this year due to the pandemic, technology helped bring people closer.
Families ventured out to malls, beaches and public parks on the first day of Eid Al Adha on Friday, following stringent precautionary measures against the spread of Covid-19.
