The Dubai Police have seized 20 vehicles and motorcycles with modified silencers that had turned them into noisy machines.
Their owners had used technology to boost their speeds illegally.

The vehicles were seized for disturbing public peace. The police operation was carried out over the weekend by officers at the Bur Dubai Police Station.
The police said: “Not only did it endanger lives, it also caused public disturbance.”
Brigadier Abdullah Khadem Al Sorour, Director of the Bur Dubai Police Station, said the campaign targeted modified vehicles and stunt driving.
