Global Catering Services will inaugurate its new The Coffee Emporium in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, March 28 — the first Australian brand in the UAE.
“This is the most competitive brand in this industry in the world…Global Catering Services is the exclusive agency for this brand in Mena,” said Alaa Abu Al Saud, the company’s operations manager.
He revealed that the café is located on Murrour Street and that the opening coincides with a steady growth in services and retail business in the country.
He also revealed that new branches of the brand would be opened in Abu Dhabi including one in Khalidiya Mall in the first half of April, while another would be launched in Sama Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai in June.
Alaa Abu Al Saud said: ”Growing demand for such services has prompted us to expand in this market…the high demand is a result of a steady population growth and an annual increase of 8-14 per cent in the number of tourist.”
The group’s executive financial manager, Ammar Atiyah, said that its central kitchen would supply The Coffee Emporium branches round the clock, adding that nearly 54 professional cooks and 10 sweets chefs work in the kitchen.
“The kitchen is well equipped to cater for the needs of all cafes and restaurants owned by Global Catering Services,” he said, noting that there are plans to supply Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Development Company.
