The Naif and Poet Al Oqaili museums are once again open from Sunday to Thursday, 8am to 2pm. Naif Museum is located in Deira, the heart of the commercial city, and represents part of Naif Castle, which was built in 1939 to be the first police station in Dubai. Learn about the history of the police and security services and have a look at historical documents and decrees pertaining to Dubai Police since its establishment in 1956. The Museum of the Poet Al Oqaili is one of the most beautiful heritage houses in Dubai that captures the essence of its owner, the poet Mubarak bin Hamad bin Mubarak Al Manea Al Oqaili.
