According to the official, the driver who was driving his car in the parking area intended to reverse the car, but accidentally drove forward and crashed into the exchange. The guard at the entrance died on impact, while a customer about to enter the premises was injured.

Bin Darwish said the driver was busy on the phone and lost concentration.
