Samsung cuts through the flaff with its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, providing all the essential features you need at an affordable price
Joshua Gillett shared in an Instagram post how his aging father walks miles to get a glimpse of his granddaughter because he cannot hold her in his arms due to the lockdown.
Gillett wrote in the post: 'It breaks my heart that my dad can't hold my daughter', and also shared a photo that shows his father looking at his little granddaughter Elliana through a window, reported NDTV.
'Today, my dad walked over 4 miles to our house so he could see Elliana through the window... again. This has become a regular thing', part of the post read.
Gillett explained that his father got to hold Elliana only twice before Covid-19 lockdown was imposed. 'Now, his granddaughter is finally here and the only thing he can hold are the daily pictures we send him. However, he knows this is temporary', he wrote.
Along with his emotional post, Gillett urged people to stay home and adhere to social distancing during the pandemic. He wrote: 'If this grandpa can resist coming inside and loving his first grandchild, I know the rest of us can do this too'.
The Instagram post went viral as it struck chord with thousands of netizens. In March, photos of a granddaughter telling her grandfather about her engagement through a glass window had gone viral on social media.
