Aeronautics training centre to come up in Hyderabad

 In a bid to develop Hyderabad as a preferred destination for aviation-related activities, the Telangana government has signed an agreement with French institute Aerocampus Aquitaine to set up an Aeronautics training nentre at Begumpet Airport here.
The agreement was signed by Telangana Industries Secretary Arvind Kumar and Aerocampus Aquitaine General Manager Jerome Verschave in the presence of Telangana Industries Minister J Krishna Rao on the sidelines of the ongoing India Aviation 2016.
The proposed institute will offer training for technicians required in the aerospace industry. The institute, which is likely to become operational in the next six months, will start with a batch of 300 students and later scale up to 1,500 to 2,000 students per year, Kumar said on the occasion.
