The annual Maktoum Cup Traditional Rowing Race returns today. Now that the temperature's come down a little, it's a great opportunity to take advantage of the lovely wind. Watch as athletes compete in this adventurous race with 25 elite boats. Pop down to Dubai International Marine Club at Al Jaddaf and watch this sporting event for free. This weekend Numaish is presenting Art Karat's latest collection Tanjore at the semi-precious jewellery show. From temple to kundan styles with gold and Hyderabadi pearls, this collection is inspired by the ancient city of Thanjavur. The city is geared up for another record-breaking attempt from November 22 to 24. Sign up and head to Dubai Festival City as they create the largest fresh flower carpet. After last year's success, Guy Manoukian is back to perform at the Dubai Opera on November 28.
