I am a great fan of your column. I have thin hair and really want thick hair. Can you suggest something for this? Also, is there any natural remedy for hair colouring?

The best treatment to thicken the hair is to massage it with a mix of 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel, 2 teaspoons of castor oil and 1 teaspoon of honey. After an hour, take a shower and shampoo it off. Do this three times a week to see an improvement. To naturally colour hair, mix coffee powder, henna and aloe vera gel together. Apply this on your hair for great results. If you wish to avoid henna, you can just use a mix of coffee and aloe vera gel.

A quick treatment for hair growth is to mix 2 tablespoons of onion juice and 1 tablespoon of honey into the scalp and massage it well. Leave it on for an hour or two and then shampoo it off. Doing this thrice a week would increase the hair growth immensely. Keep in mind, healthy eating and stressing less will give the best results.
My eyebrows are so scanty. Is there any way to grow them a little bit thicker, apart from applying castor oil?

Castor oil is the oldest-tested treatment to thicken eyebrows; however, coconut oil or olive oil also helps to nourish and thicken the eyebrows. Just place a drop of oil on your brows twice a day and massage them gently.

I've heard that eggs are good for hair. As I'm really desperate for healthy hair, I'm considering trying it out. My only problem is that I don't want my hair to get stinky. What would you advise?
- Kezia
Egg is an excellent treatment for healthy hair, as it's rich in protein and vitamins. In addition, it helps moisturise and nourish the hair to have firmer roots and improve hair growth. Beat 2 eggs thoroughly, add 1 tablespoon of honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a few drops of rosemary oil. This oil will benefit the scalp and remove the smell of the egg. Do this twice a week for a good nourishing mask for healthy hair.
I'm going to be 40 years old soon. My skin has begun to sag and I have begun to bald. I have a good diet, exercise and sleep routine, and have no other health problems. Please suggest what I should do.

Your skin requires a rich nourishing treatment. Mix 1 teaspoon of carrot juice, 1 teaspoon of coconut milk and half a teaspoon of honey. Apply this on the hands, face and feet for an hour and then rinse it off. Do this for 30 minutes every day or at least thrice a week. To help firm facial muscles and tone the arms, a yoga exercise called lion roar is beneficial. For the hair, mix 1 teaspoon of castor oil, 2 tablespoons of organic coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of fenugreek paste and massage it into the scalp. After two hours, shampoo it off with room temperature water. Do this thrice a week for quick results. Add yoga to your exercise and eat nuts, fish, eggs, legumes, green, leafy vegetables, and fresh fruits daily. Don't forget to drink two litres of water every day.
