The number one item on your wish list.
Dinner with Angela Merkel, Vladimir Putin, Elon Musk, Bill Maher and Lady Gaga. That could either end up in a really awkward or incredibly exciting evening - you never know. Invites are out - waiting for RSVPs.

If you could move to any place in the world, what place would that be?
I would take the Sheats-Goldstein Residence in Los Angeles and tour with it around the world! We would set up camp in cities like Tokyo, Copenhagen, Dubai and Paris - and change it up occasionally with remote spots in Bali, Tuscany or Scotland.

The biggest learning point or experience in your life to date.
As a kid, I begged my parents for a Dalmatian puppy. One day, my dad took me to an animal shelter and said: Your chance is now or never. I weighed my options: go for an 'ugly' dog or go home alone. Half-heartedly, I picked one. Turned out, this was the most lovable dog ever and we became the most amazing team. It was a great lesson in so many ways.

If you won a million bucks tomorrow, what would you do with the money?
It would go into wildlife conservation. During my travels, I was lucky to get up close with fascinating creatures, such as cheetahs or whales. Those moments were incredibly moving. We are not paying enough attention to the horrific number of species being endangered. Compared to 1970, we are on track to be left with just one third of wild animals by 2020. Once gone, we can never bring them back.

What advice would you give your younger self, if you could?
Hop on every train with destination 'unknown'. Every journey you undertake will broaden your horizon and make you a stronger and better person.

The most interesting app you've come across.
Star Tracker. You just hold the screen in any direction of the sky and it tells you instantly what you can see up there. It's perfect for a romantic evening around a fireplace in the desert. Love it.

Your greatest fear.
I find anything threatening our planet very scary - like climate change, wars or pandemics.

If you could trade lives with any one - dead or alive - for a day, who would it be and why?
I would want to be Albert Einstein - to find out how he worked it all out by making thought experiments. That could turn out to be really cool!

Your favourite fictional character of all time - and why.
Definitely a Star Wars character! I am a big fan and we even named our cats Luke, Leia and Chewy. Master Yoda is my favourite. I love the fact that he is tiny and easily underestimated, but is truly the wisest and most powerful Jedi.

If you could have your pick of superpowers, what would you choose?
Mindreading! It would be fantastic to get instant access to all knowledge that is out there. Knowing about other people's intentions could be extremely helpful at times, too.
