Please tell me if you have natural remedies for fine lines and wrinkles. I am not old enough to be having these, so please suggest something effective.

Lines and wrinkles tend to become prominent due to poor water intake or overexposure to the sun. Your skin can look youthful and smooth if you add a minimum of 10-12 glasses of water to your diet. Dip cotton in full cream cold milk and clean your skin with it; leave on for 10 minutes, and rinse off with warm water. Dry your face and apply a daily mask of 1 teaspoon carrot juice with 1 teaspoon honey. Massage your face and neck in upward circles. Rinse after 30 minutes with cold water. At night, take 3 drops vitamin E oil, add 12 drops aloe vera gel and 2 drops lavender oil. Apply this very gently apply to your face and neck with patting strokes. Do this every day. Your skin will very soon show amazing improvement.

I am a 14-year-old boy and have been an avid reader of your column. I recently got tanned and would like a simple home remedy to lighten my skin tone. Also, my hair is weak and rough. Although I apply oil once in a while, it hasn't done me much good. Please suggest a remedy.

A simple remedy would be to rub a slice of tomato all over your face every night after a face wash. Leave on overnight. Do this every day and you will notice a clear and light complexion. Always wear sunblock before stepping out. To soften your hair, massage coconut milk into it 20 minutes before you shampoo. After you shampoo and dry your hair, it will feel smooth and silky.

I am 18 years old. I have pimples as well as acne marks on my back, shoulders and chest. Moreover, I have dandruff too. Could you suggest a home remedy?

Dandruff generally leads to acne and pimples. Make a hair pack by adding 1 teaspoon yoghurt to 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel and 12 drops tea tree oil. Brush your hair, massage the pack into your scalp and also on the acne and pimples. Rinse after an hour. Do this every day. In a couple of weeks, you will see significant improvement.

I have to attend a wedding in about three months and wish to grow out my hair for the same. Please suggest something that can help my hair grow faster and stay nourished.

I can't promise at what rate your hair will grow, but I'm happy to help you with the following remedy. Brush hair and steam it. Add drops of rosemary oil in each hair parting and follow with a gentle massage. Leave this on overnight and shampoo your hair the next day. Rosemary oil activates hair growth. You can do this treatment every alternate day. Also, ensure your diet is rich in nuts, green, leafy vegetables and fresh seasonal fruits. I'm sure you'll see great results in three months.
