Former Indian TV actor and VJ, Shenaz Treasury took a daredevil ride in zipline measuring 2.83km in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) during her vacation in the UAE.
The gutsy 'Jebel Jais Flight: The World's Longest Zipline', opened to the public on February 1, 2018, and earned the Guinness World Records title of being the longest zipline in the world. Shenaz is among the first to take the newly launched zipline which is equivalent to over 28 soccer fields.
Shenaz who is also a TV host and travel Vlogger posted on Instagram a video of herself taking the adventurous zipline ride and wrote: "Do you dare to fly?! World's longest zip line (2.8 kilometer) launched from the top of the UAE's highest peak, Jebel Jais @visitrasalkhaimah with speeds up to 159 kph, and guess who was one of the first to try it?! Not only was I soaring high above the desert after being launched, but I am face down and flying like Superman! Thank God I'm still alive."
The video shows the actor is both excited as well as jittery just before she take the ride spanning over Jebel Jais, the UAE's largest mountain peak at over 1,680 metres above sea level. Just before she takes to the skies, Shenaz can be heard saying: 'This is the world's longest zipline. I am scared.'
