Commuters should expect tailbacks and traffic delays on the route. The police have advised motorists to reduce vehicle speed and drive carefully on the roads, and use other routes.

Dubai Police have issued a statement on Twitter, advising drivers about interruption of traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road, heading to Abu Dhabi. They advised motorists to take alternative routes to avoid delays.
