Sharjah reduces fees for transferring vehicles

The Sharjah Police have amended and reduced the fees for transferring and exporting vehicles. The move is in execution of the Sharjah Executive Council decision number 32 of 2016.
Col Rashid Salim Al Bas, Director of Vehicle and Driving Licensing Department, said motorists and companies can submit a request for transferring or exporting vehicle registration to Sharjah at the service centres of the department.
He explained that the decision was taken under the directives of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to reduce fees of local services and provide best services for nationals, residents and business owners.
Here is the new rate list:
Transfer within the UAE without licence plate (same owner): Dh30
Transfer within the UAE with licence plate (same owner): Dh150
Transfer within the country without licence plate (different owner): Dh80
Export vehicle outside the country without licence plate (same owner): Dh130
Export vehicle outside the country with licence plate (same owner): Dh250
Export vehicle outside the country without licence plate (different owner): Dh180
Export vehicle outside the country with licence plate (different owner): Dh300
