Now, create your own mobile number in UAE

Abu Dhabi - Once a number is selected, customers can choose from a variety of postpaid plans.

Etisalat postpaid subscribers will now be able to purchase a customised mobile number of their choosing, a first in the UAE.
With the announcement, UAE customers will be able to select, customise and activate the number from anywhere in the country. Etisalat offers a large pool of special, gold and platinum mobile numbers through the Create Your Number service on etisalat's website (www.etisalat.ae/createnumber).
The new online service gives customers the flexibility to choose a mobile number based on their favourite dates, such as birthdays or anniversaries, or numbers, such as those from their apartment and number plate, along with any of the etisalat prefixes (050, 054, 056).
Once a number is selected, customers can choose from a variety of postpaid plans depending on their usage needs.
This new service is in line with the change in consumer buying trends in the country. Etisalat has witnessed a surge in the use of online transactions among UAE consumers, with 1.2 million of its subscribers opting to pay bills and shop online.
