The patrols also are still being deployed in vital roads to minimise traffic congestion. He added that Ajman Police have deployed 25 patrols round-the-clock during the Eid days to ensure safety and security.
He added that the great efforts made by these patrols have resulted in bringing down the traffic accidents to one per cent.
There were no casualties or serious injuries have been reported in accidents during Eid days.
He pointed out that the minor accidents that occurred during Eid were due to violation of safety rules and speeding.
According to him, the traffic safety has been achieved because of proper deployment of patrols near crowded and vital areas like mosques, shopping malls and parks.
