Photos: Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan, Pakistan PM condole with UAE President over Sheikh Saeed's death

The President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, continued to receive condolences for a second day on the passing of Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was laid to rest on Thursday.

Among those who went to Abu Dhabi's Al Mushrif Palace to express sympathies were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and his brothers Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, President of Dubai Airports Corporation, and CEO of Emirates Airlines, was also present.

On the same day, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif flew into the country to personally extend his condolences to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

Several other sheikhs, senior ministers, and top officials from around the world joined the crowd of mourners at the palace.

Sheikh Mohamed received condolences at Qasr Al Mushrif in Abu Dhabi from Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Thani bin Hamad Al Thani; Sheikh Al Qaqa bin Hamad Al Thani; and Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).

Sheikhs, officials and crowds of mourners expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to Sheikh Mohamed and the entire Al Nahyan family.

They all prayed to God to grant the late Sheikh Saeed peace and mercy, and solace and patience to all in this time of grief.
