Firefighters douse blaze at six warehouses in Ajman

Firefighters in the emirate of Ajman today brought under control a fire that razed six warehouses in the Industrial Area in the emirate of Ajman.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
Civil defence crews from Umm Al Qaiwain and Sharjah helped in dousing the blaze in around 40 minutes in the early hours of the morning, head of media and public relations department at the General Directorate of Civil Defence of Ajman, Colonel Nasser Al Zari.
Worker accommodations near to the scene were evacuated as a precaution, he said, adding that several fire fighters had to be treated for heat exhaustion caused by high temperature.
Al Zari said that an investigation will be carried out into the cause of the fire.
