A 51 years old Emarati died in the spot during horrific crash accident which involved four cars on the Shaikh Zayed in Ajman on Thursday morning.
The accident also caused massive traffic congestion and chaos in the street and the whole areas.
The accident was caused by a driver who was driving a Toyota Fortuner, and failed to ensure safety of road before entering from Enoc patrol.
Col. Ali Humaid, director of Ajman Traffic and patrol department at Ajman Police said that the deceased was driving a vehicle of Vitara type in his correct lane in Shaikh bin Zayed in Ajman, and was suddenly crashed with car driven by an Asian who entered the road from Enoc petrol station without paying attention to ensure safety of road. The crash caused the deceased car to turnover several times causing him immediate death. The crash also involved other two cars and cause them sever damage, but no casualties among their drivers.
The police said the patrol and traffic experts and ambulance reached the site in less than five minutes and removed the deceased, then the cars immediately caught fire.
He said that the Asian driver who caused the accident due to failing of ensure road safety before entering is safe and detained in Al Humaidiya police stations.
The police official urged the motorist to follow safety rules, pay attention in the road, follow speed limit and ensure safety of road before entering highways to avoid fatal accidents.
