They had managed to put out and contain the flames before spreading to nearby caravans and places.

Ras Al Khaimah - These included blazes in a house, an apartment, heavy truck, scrape wastes, and other places. None of the fires reported led to human casualties; only minor, to medium and big financial losses.

Firefighters in Ras Al Khaimah contained eight blazes in the past three days. The most recent of these was a massive blaze in the Asafni area where four big caravans were totally gutted, informed sources told Khaleej Times.
"It took the RAK firefighters around one hour to put out the fire using water and foam, and cooling down the site so that the fire does not start again."
They had managed to put out and contain the flames before spreading to nearby caravans and places. "Unfortunately, four caravans were totally destroyed in the fire before the civil defence teams arrived."
The civil defence team safely evacuated all the nearby caravans," he said. "No casualties were reported in the fire."
They said that dumping inflammable wastes and smoking at or close to woody caravans poses a grave risk and ends in such fires.
The RAK civil defence department has, meanwhile, extinguished seven other fires at different areas across the northern emirate.
"These included blazes in a house, an apartment, heavy truck, scrape wastes, and other places. None of the fires reported led to human casualties; only minor, to medium and big financial losses."
