Driver runs over man in UAE, kills him; arrested in 24 hours
Dubai - The victim was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
The driver, who hit a 29-year-old Asian man and fled the scene, was nabbed after police checked all the cameras in the area.
Sharing the details on their official Instagram account, Sharjah Police said they received a report on the accident at 10.30pm on Monday. The victim was rushed to the Al Qassimi Hospital, but did not survive, said Major Mohammed Rashid Al Shehhi, Head of Investigation and Traffic Control Department at Sharjah Police.
The 47-year-old Asian motorist was arrested after a quick investigation was carried out and all cameras in the area where the accident took place were checked.
