Al Tayer explores cooperation with new Kuwaiti Consul

Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads and Transport Authority RTA, has received Diab Farhan Al Rashidi, the new Consul-General of Kuwait in Dubai.

During the meeting, discussions covered means of enhancing cooperation between the RTA and the Kuwaiti Consulate. The two parties also exchanged views on the latest developments and had cordial talks about issues of common interest.

During the meeting, Al Tayer welcomed the Kuwaiti Consul, wishing him a pleasant stay and successful mission contributing to a broader mutual cooperation in various fields. He praised the brotherly relations between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait under the wise leadership of the two countries.

“Visits of delegations from the Gulf Cooperation Council states constitute perfect opportunities for exchanging experiences, boosting cooperation in various fields, and benefiting from the practices adopted in GCC countries. In keeping with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the RTA stands ready to offer all expertise and capabilities in the service of sisterly and friendly countries,” said Al Tayer.

The Kuwaiti Consul-General praised the upsurge in the development drive witnessed by the UAE in various fields, making it an attractive destination for investors, businessmen and tourists.
