35-minute NYE fireworks in UAE: 24-hour bus service announced

Abu Dhabi transport authorities will operate a round-the-clock bus service so that residents can enjoy a record-breaking 35-minute New Year’s Eve (NYE) fireworks show.

The Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba will come alive at the stroke of midnight with fireworks that will break two Guinness World Records: The world’s first ever Girandola fireworks show and the largest straight-line fireworks display.
“We are pleased to announce that we have added new bus services to Sheikh Zayed Festival for you attend the New Year’s celebration. Bus services to Sheikh Zayed Festival are now available on Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 3pm to 3am on Friday, January 1, 2021,” the Capital’s Integrated Traffic Centre tweeted on Thursday.
