Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation announced with AMC a crossover collaboration between PUBG Mobile and The Walking Dead.
The tie-up will give players a chance to traverse the battlefield as familiar heroes or an iconic villain, with limited-edition in-game items such as character skins, weapons and a vehicle among those available.
The collaboration began on October 1 and will continue into early-2020.
In addition to skins, The Walking Dead Board Game is also available as part of the collaboration. Just tap the banner in the bottom right of the main menu to start. Complete event missions and collect items to advance and earn points, then exchange them for amazing rewards, the best of which is a permanent Daryl Dixon's Motorcycle! More events and characters are also coming, so stay tuned!
PUBG Mobile had also started its Fancy October Giveaway in-game event, in which players who log in to participate in in-game challenges could have chance to win an Apple iPhone 11. The event will be launched in the Southeast Asia, North America, Mena and India regions. Other territories would have their own events.
With over 400 million downloads and 50 million daily users, PUBG Mobile continues to remain among the top-performing mobile games worldwide. The Walking Dead, heading into its 10th season, which premieres on Sunday on AMC, remains the highest-rated series on cable television.
AMC's The Walking Dead is the latest marquee brand to join top-tier collaborations with PUBG Mobile, which has included successful tie-in campaigns with Resident Evil 2 and Godzilla: King of Monsters in 2019.
