DBMSC 'A', Falcons and Hard Hitters emerged as the champions of the Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions of the ICC Academy Challengers Cup - 2 held at the ICC Academy Indoor facilities organised by the Dubai Sports City.
In the Gold Division, DBMSC 'A' eased past DBMSC 'B'. Batting first, DBMSC 'A' openers Aqib Malik (19) and Nashwan Nasir (11) made a roaring start putting on 30 runs.
The next pair of Vikrant Shetty and Saqib Nazir was relatively quiet with both of them scoring an identical nine.But Ramveer (18) along with Rana Dastagir (10) again took the bowlers to task as they hammered 28 together.
Isuru provided the final touches with a fluent 17 as DBMSC - A amassed a huge 101.
In reply, DBMSC 'B' batting looked completely out of sorts as they failed to handle their opponents disciplined bowling.
In the Silver Division final, Falcons edged past Qualitas in a thrilling battle. Batting first Qualitas, posted 53 thanks to contributions from Sunil (12), Danish (11).
In reply, Falcons were given a strong start with Ashfaq smashing 12, Prem further consolidated the chase with a brilliant 17. But despite a slowdown in the next few overs, Hisan (12) stayed firm to guide Falcons to the victory.
In the Bronze Division final, Hard Hitters defeated Tiger. Led by strong show from Sumesh (11), Tiger achieved 59. In reply, Hard Hitters managed 79 after most of their batsmen came good.
