Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand atop the iconic red roof of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi? The 200,000sqm roof with the Ferrari’s prancing horse logo is one of the UAE landmarks visible from space. Now, you can walk on that roof.
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Roof Walk was launched in line with the theme park’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The indoor amusement park in the Capital officially opened its doors on November 4, 2010.
The roof walk, a unique experience, also offers a great vantage point to catch the best views of the beautiful Yas Island.
New zip line
The thrill gets even better, with Ferrari World’s new zip line adventure which it claims as the first of its kind. A dash from the very heart of the park through the Flying Aces — the world’s highest roller coaster loop — is enough to get one’s adrenaline pumping.
Bianca Sammut, general manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and acting head of Yas Theme Parks, said the new rides complement the exciting mix of activities at the park.
“Today, we reflect on a decade of achievements, record-breaking rides and attractions, and priceless memories with guests from across the globe,” Sammut said.
Visitors coming to the park need to book tickets online and will get to try the new attractions from Thursday.
