Filipino housemaid stabs Saudi sponsor to death

Makkah - The police found the maid's dress dumped outside the house with bloodstains on it.

A housemaid in Saudi Arabia has been accused of killing her Saudi woman sponsor by stabbing her more than 10 times with a cleaver, reports Saudi Gazette.
The Filipino housemaid was in her 30s and the victim was in her 50s, said spokesman of Makkah Police Col. Atti Bin Attiyah Al Qurashi.
The housemaid escaped to the Grand Mosque after committing the crime. She was caught in the mataf area, said spokesman of the Haram security forces Maj. Sameh Al Sulami.
The police found the maid's dress dumped outside the house with bloodstains on it.
According to Saudi Gazette, "the deceased was the wife of an academician. She had two sons and three daughters. She had two Filipino maids who were both arrested after the crime."
The maid will be reportedly handed over to the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution (BIP) after questioning.
