Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) hosted the first national Par three league event of 2015 where nine different juniors came from three different emirates to participate. Eleven-year-old Obaid Al Heloo stole the show with a brilliant performance.
This Par three event was held at the famous Emirates Golf Club.
Obaid grabbed first place after shooting a 36 in nines holes of play. Obaid had three pars and four bogies. At the age 11, Obaid is one of those players moving up the ranks. Training out of Al Badia Golf Club the EGF has seen Obaid’s game improve over the past six months.
Mohammed Adel finished second with the score of 40. Mohammed had one par and four bogies. Mohammed plays out of Abu Dhabi City Golf Club. At the age of 14, Mohammed looks to make an impact on the National Junior Golf Team in the upcoming years.
