Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's official portrait has been at the centre of conversation on social media after it was taken two days ago.
Irfan Ahson, the photographer who took the portrait, shared it on his Facebook page saying: "Totally honoured to be the official photographer for his portraits that will be used all over the world for embassies and government buildings and official use!"
According to his post, the prime minister only gave him 25 seconds to get the perfect shot. He also remarked that Khan's team were ecstatic with the results. As of the time of this writing, his post has garnered around 4,000 reactions and 204 shares. Many praised his photograph of Khan. One user, Shaheen Fatima Khan said:
"Awesome!" she then added compared Ahson's portrait of Khan to that of former White House photographer Pete Souza. Naz Ali meanwhile said: "I love it! Amazing picture, of course he is our prime minister, but great work done by you."

But detractors have made their way to the powerful photo. Some social media users claim that Ahson charged an exorbitant 3.5 million rupees for the portrait. He quashed these rumours on Twitter saying that he in fact did the portrait pro bono as a sign of his support for Naya Pakistan.
