ABU DHABI IS set to mark UAE National Day with a bang, as the capital hosts 11 fireworks shows across six sites on December 1 and 2.
On both nights at 9pm, Abu Dhabi Corniche will light up in a 12-minute display, and at 8.30pm there will also be shows at Khor Al Maqta in front of the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel, Hili Fun City, the Madinat Zayed and on Delma Island.
On December 2, a three-minute show will bring to a close the 42nd National Day parade celebrations on Yas Island at 8pm. All displays come from Spanish company Pirotecnia Igual, with 63,410 shots planned in total.
