UAE leaders lead prayers for rain across the nation

Rulers, government officials and residents prayed to Allah for rain in the country.

On the directives of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, leaders and residents across the nation performed prayers for rain, known as Salaat Al Istisqaa.
Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al-Khaimah performed the prayers for rain at Grand Eid Musalla in Ras Al-Khaimah, local news agency wam reported.
Muslims in the UAE gathered at mosques and musallahs across the country to perform the prayers in keeping with the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad, (Peace Be Upon Him), to pray for the land to be blessed with rain.
The RAK Ruler performed the prayers along with a crowd of Shaikhs and senior officials in addition to a number of citizens and residents.
In Ajman, Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, performed prayers at Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Mosque.
The Ruler performed the prayers along with Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, along with a number of Shaikhs, senior officials.
Shaikh Hazza bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Court of the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, performed the prayers at the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed the First Mosque in Al Ain.
In Fujairah, Crown Prince Shaikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi led the prayer.
