His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, has issued a Federal Decree appointing Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Deputy National Security Adviser at the degree of Minister.
The decree shall be published in the official gazette and shall be effective from the date of issuance.
Shaikh Khalid is His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces' son.
Earlier in 2016, Shaikh Khalid had been appointed as head of national security with the rank of minister.
