The students, along with their parents and school representatives, had the opportunity to listen to speeches by Dr Abdullatif Al Shamsi, Managing Director of the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT); and Dr Arif Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the Higher Education Sector at the Abu Dhabi Education Council.

The students were provided with Lego robots, which they can assemble later and use at the exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) camp that Khalifa University will be hosting in August.

“Khalifa University has a reputation for accepting the best students, who are taught by the best faculty, and who go on to become leaders of industry,” said Dr Mohammed Al Mualla, Senior Vice-President of Research and Development.

Students visiting Khalifa University also got a chance to benefit from the Khalifa University Direct Entry Reward Scheme, under which UAE national students are eligible to receive 100 per cent of their tuition fees and a generous monthly stipend.
