Individuals to receive recognition on the night included the best all-rounder, batsman and bowler in Divisions One and Two, whereas three juniors in inter-school, U16 competitions held by the Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah Cricket Councils were winners as well.
Shruti Pathak Pandey became only the second recipient to be crowned the Best Women’s Cricketer of the UAE award, while representatives from the four Cricket Councils — the aforementioned trio and Ajman — and media organisations, including Khaleej Times’ very own Pradeep Adur, also received mementos for their continued support for UAE cricket overall.
Umpires from the four organisations each took home a cash award of Dhs 1,500 for their own performances in overseeing competitive games to boot.
