Phoenix Medicine lost Fahad Ansari quickly to Kasim Butt but Usman Zarbadshah played a very responsible knock as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. He first played himself in and then hit some good shots to make 52 runs in 45 balls in which he hit seven fours and a six. Rohan Mustafa was the other batsman who continued to build on the good work playing a responsible knock in the middle of the innings making a superb 59 runs in 41 balls with three sixes and an equal number of fours to take Phoenix medicine to a formidable total of 172 runs.

Nucaf skipper Gopal Jasapara bowled a tight line and length and was the pick of the bowlers picking two wickets.

In reply, Nucaf Tellicherry got off to an excellent start as openers Mohammed Asif and Jayaprakash put on 85 runs in ten overs for the first wicket and Tellicherry were heading in the right direction. However, as soon as Jayapraksh was run-out the rest of the batting crumbled as Asif Mumtaz and Amjad Gujjar sliced through the Nucaf batting restricting them to 163 runs to win the quarter-finals. Mohammed Asif was unfortunate to be on the

losing side after some brilliant batting, which saw him making 91, runs in 74 balls in which

he smashed four sixes and eleven fours. Fly Emirates now cruise straight through to the final as they have the best net run rate of +2.83 while Yogi group +0.37 and Phoenix medicine +0.36 will play the semi-final.
