Starting today (Monday, January 4), the Indian Association Ajman community hall will serve as a centre where Ajman residents can receive the Covid-19 vaccine for free, Khaleej Times has learned.
The association is collaborating with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) to administer the Sinopharm vaccine to those in need, said Roop Sidhu, general secretary of the Indian Association in Ajman.
The association hall is located in the Al Jurf area, Ajman.
“There are 20 doctors and a team of nurses who will administer the vaccine on-site after the necessary protocols are completed,” explained Sidhu. “We have made arrangements to accommodate up to 800 people at a given time. All safety and social distancing protocols will be followed,” he added.
No prior appointment is required and residents can arrive directly with their original Emirates ID to get vaccinated. Vaccination will be given daily from 9am to 9pm.
Residents can get further details by calling 06-7467722.
