The UAE Embassy in Pakistan organised a vaccination drive for its staff in Islamabad to ensure the safety and health of its employees as well as of people visiting the embassy.

The mission’s cadres are among the first in Pakistan to receive the coronavirus vaccination.


“The UAE Embassy in Islamabad organised a vaccination programme against Covid-19 by vaccinating all employees and cadres of Embassy, based on its commitment to social responsibility, [and] effectively contribute in efforts aimed at preserving and safety of the society and its members,” the embassy said in a tweet.

Pakistani media reported that the country will administer 150 million doses of vaccine in the first quarter and around two billion doses by the end of 2021.


Pakistan had confirmed Covid-19 cases of over 530,000 and 11,348 deaths.
