Coronavirus: Dubai's RTA updates public transport timings
The new timings, which come into effect today, conform to the revised national sterilisation programme from 8pm to 6am the following day.
The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has updated the service hours of public transport means (metro, tram, buses, marine transport, taxis, and shared transport) as well as customer happiness centres and centres of service providers as of Wednesday, May 20.

In a series of tweets, the RTA said it would apply all preventive and proactive health measures to adhere to physical distancing in transport means, stations, and centres.
Passengers are obliged to wear face masks for their safety and that of employees and operators.

Starting today Wednesday, May 20th public buses operation timings will change to be from 6 AM until 8 PM along with essential trips between 8 PM and 6 AM (to hospitals only). Metro - Operating from 7am to 9pm.
Tram - Operating from a 7am to 9pm
Taxi - Operating from 6am 8pm
Marine - Operating hours from 8:30am to 7pm.
Intercity Bus - Intercity Bus service is unavailable till further notice.
Bus - Dubai Bus will is fully operational from 6 AM until 8 PM.
Limited bus services from 8pm till 6am (hospitals only).
