Emirates Bank arranges $125m syndicated facility for Thuraya

DUBAI — Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company (Thuraya) signed an agreement with Emirates Bank to raise $125 million through a syndicated loan facility.

The facility, which has a tenor of five years, was arranged by the Investment Banking division of Emirates Bank (EBI) and Emirates Financial Services, collectively the mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners. Emirates Bank, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Union National Bank and ING Bank are the lead arrangers and participating banks for the transaction. Emirates Bank will act as the facility agent.
