Dubai - The rate for a local call while roaming in the GCC is 30 fils.

Du has launched a roaming data offer where travellers can get 300MB as data allowance on a daily basis at only Dh20. The offer is valid across 60 countries, including in the GCC.

Du has ensured there is more than one process of activation, such as activating the bundle through SMS while in the UAE, du portal (mydata.du.ae) while abroad (for free) or through USSD (*135*20#) for prepaid subscribers.
