Shilpa to sell her Dubai pad?

We hear that Shilpa Shetty is planning to sell her apartment at Burj Khalifa. We tried to get in touch with her for a confirmation but the actor was not available for a comment. When City Times caught up with Shilpa in her plush apartment a few months back for an exclusive tete-a-tete, the actress gushed about how much the family loves spending time in their Dubai pad which they call their second home. The couple also revealed that they were planning to buy some property in Palm Jumeirah. Could the failure of her first production Dishkiyaoon be one of the reasons for this decision?

Vaani Kapoor gets lucky

We have heard that Vaani Kapoor, who made her debut with Shuddh Desi Romance last year, will feature opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Fan. The movie will be directed by Manish Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films. Eariler there were speculations that Parineeti Chopra, who is apparently close to Manish, will play the female lead in this film. After Shuddh Desi Romance, Vaani acted in the Telugu version Aaha Kalyanam. This certainly looks like a big break for this lucky girl.

Tiger ready to spring

Aamir Khan will be introducing Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger to the media during the first look launch of his debut film Heropanti. The actor shares a very good rapport with Jackie’s family. He has known Tiger since his childhood days and the two have been gym buddies of late. Tiger has been kept completely under wraps before the big launch. We spoke to actor Vikram Singh who is playing the second lead in the film to learn more about the young Shroff. “Tiger and me bond very well as we both are fitness nuts (sic). He is a gym lover and I am a trained boxer from New Zealand. We are very good friends and discuss issues on health, fitness, food and acting styles of course. My role in Heropanti is that of a guy who is the antagonist to Tiger’s character. As we are still shooting for Heropanti I can’t reveal much more.” Now let’s wait and see if Aamir’s blessings will work for Tiger or he will turn out to be just another star kid.

Rare relationship

Did you know that Harman Baweja and Shamita Shetty dated each other briefly before parting ways? The actor continued to share a good bond with the Shetty family. No wonder Shilpa signed him as a leading man in her first production even though he is in a relationship with Bipasha Basu now. It’s not very often that we come across people in Bollywood who do not turn bitter against partners when relationships break.

Actor ignored on film set

This actor saw moderate success in Bollywood before his name was dragged into an unsavoury incident in the aftermath of which he was shunned by most of his so-called friends within the industry. He is now working in a high profile movie and we hear that his co-stars are snubbing him. Though he is playing an important character in the movie, the lead actress has given an ultimatum to her director to not give her any dialogues with him. One hears she was hopping mad when she learnt that the director had roped in the said actor at the last minute, probably as a favour to him. Apparently the actor is forced to spend time on his own on the sets and after shoots as well since none of his co-stars want to have anything to do with him...
