It was no less different for this lorry driver stuck in a desert in Dubai.
A video posted on Instagram shows a fully-loaded lorry stuck in the desert, with Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown Prince of Dubai, trying to pull it out with his Mercedes G series car.
Sheikh Hamdan is himself at the wheel, stepping on the gas, even as tractor pulls his own car from the front.
Unable to pull the lorry, the wheels of Sheikh Hamdan's vehicle spin freely over the sand, losing traction with the surface, and the car ultimately skids sideways.
Undeterred, Sheikh Hamdan continues his rescue effort until the link between his vehicle and the lorry snaps.
Sheikh Hamdan then comes out of the car to inspect the situation. The video ends with the lorry unloading all the sand it was carrying.
