UAE gears up to showcase its innovations

Innovation becomes an everyday celebration in the country as the second edition of UAE Innovation Week begins tomorrow.
Dubai will witness over 60 different activities in support of celebrating innovation across the nation, themed "Innovation, an everyday activity".
The week-long events are set to highlight the UAE as a global innovation hub, in line with the UAE's 2021 strategic vision.
This year's Innovation Week will showcase the most important innovative developments that contribute to the promotion of welfare among all members of society, which have been designed by both the public and the private sector.
The nationwide celebration of innovation focuses primarily on the seven major sectors: health, transportation, renewable energy, technology, education, water and space.
Also, family oriented activities for the public have been planned across the country, including some exciting innovation talks and crash courses on various topics of interests for free.
In Dubai, a free dedicated family-oriented event titled: "The Innovation Hub" will take place at Dubai's Burj Park on Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, where creative and engaging activities will be hosted from Wednesday to Saturday.
